Weather: cold with a flurry here and there

Greetings all! This is Ben Noll checking in with the latest Hudson Valley weather update.
If you don’t have the time to read the details, here are the headlines:
Another week lacking a major winter storm
Cold fronts will bring the chance for flurries from time to time
Sometimes breezy & particularly chilly on Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday
Following Saturday’s rain, a colder northwesterly air flow is filtering into the region. It will stick around for much of the upcoming week, with a few weak disturbances tracking in from Canada.
Monday will have relatively similar weather to Sunday. There will be more clouds than sun, a breeze, and a chance for a passing flurry although high temperatures will be near 40.
Tuesday could be described as a nondescript winter day: plenty of clouds, chilly, maybe a flurry.
A stronger cold front will approach the region on Wednesday, not just causing a drop in temperatures and some wind but a risk for a passing snow shower or squall. At this point, timing looks like late morning or early afternoon.
With cold air in place, another weak weather feature will track through on Thursday, bringing clouds and a small chance for a bit of snow.
A temporary, slight warmup is expected Friday before another cold front swings through on Saturday. The cold, Canadian air will remain in place on Sunday.
Looking ahead to the week of the 25th, a coastal low pressure system may form on Monday or Tuesday (25th-26th). It could deliver some snow or remain suppressed to the south. I’m keeping an eye on it.
Sharp cold shots appear likely through the end of the month, but the moisture needed for storms may be hard to come by.
