Happy Friday all! Before your focus shifts to the weekend (if it hasn’t already 😉), I’d like to let you know about a weather system that I’m keeping an eye on.
A storm will take shape over the nation’s midsection this weekend with a broad shield of moisture extending toward the Northeast early next week.
At this point, the Hudson Valley could be in its path, although an area of high pressure to the north will try to fend off the worst of it.
What? Possible accumulating snow ❄️
When? Monday night and Tuesday.
Confidence? Medium. As usual, the storm’s track will be make or break. A small shift could mean more or less snow and therefore it’s too early to specifically say “how much”. More than 6 inches looks unlikely at this time.
Take home message? It’s worth giving your Tuesday plans some extra thought in case Mother Nature makes a mess of things!
I’ll post updates through the weekend on Twitter and Facebook.
