A seemingly perpetual coating of snow rests on the roads as steady snow redeveloped across the Hudson Valley overnight.
Have you got winter storm fatigue? I hate to break it to you, but there’s some more snow coming on Monday.
Here’s a radio-style update 🗣️
Light to moderate snow will continue through about mid-afternoon Friday, giving way to flurries that may not completely end until the evening. In total, another 2 or 3 inches are expected today with continued slippery travel conditions.
For schools, delays, closings, and virtual learning options are all on the table.
Dry weather will arrive in time for the weekend with abundant sunshine expected on Sunday ☀️
Monday
A front is expected to cross the region, bringing a few inches of snow. At this point, the most likely timing is during the afternoon, but let’s see how things look as we get closer. Temperatures on Monday afternoon are forecast to be above freezing, which would limit the impact on road conditions. Nevertheless, school disruptions, such as early dismissals, do look possible.
The next update will arrive on Sunday morning. Have a great weekend.
