After once looking rather threatening, the turkey day outlook has trended more tame with time! 🤲

While it will turn quite cold next week, this is good news for the Hudson Valley and the Northeast more broadly.

Here’s a quick breakdown of the forecast from Monday-Friday of next week:

Monday — early morning showers, then clearing. A breeze with highs in the lower 50s.

Tuesday — partly sunny, cold, and windy with scattered snow showers possible. Highs in the mid to upper 30s.

Wednesday — sunny, cold, and breezy. Highs in the upper 30s to lower 40s.

Thanksgiving — clouds and some sun. High near 50.

Friday — more clouds than sun with a chance for a shower. High near 50.

Predicted surface weather map for Tuesday morning; note the extent of the sub-freezing air (blue line) into the south and snow showers across the Northeast

Hope your holiday is as fine as a slice of pumpkin pie 🥧
