Good day! 👋
As promised, here’s a little update on what the Hudson Valley can expect for the day on Wednesday.
The forecast is taking shape, although another 24 hours will likely be needed to refine the details.
It’s not looking like a big storm, but a borderline nuisance-level snowfall remains… on the edge of the table.
What? Light snow ❄️
When? Starting Wednesday morning, likely after 6:00 am. Ending by Wednesday evening.
How much? From a coating on the (more likely) lower end up to 2 inches or so on the (less likely) higher end. The accumulation forecast will be finessed over the next 24 hours.
Impacts? If snow starts before dawn on Wednesday, a slippery coating of snow could greet morning commuters. If not, and much of the snow ends up falling during the day, impacts will be minor to nuisance level at worst. I will hold off for one more day before offering my thoughts on school, but clearly we’ll need more than a dusting of snow to get a snow day!
You’ll hear from me again on Tuesday morning 😊 In the meantime, follow along on Twitter for the latest.
