Hi everyone!

Just checking in with a quick message on the weather for Superbowl Sunday 🏈

The day will start off snowy but it will end well before the big game.

What? Light to moderate snow.

When? Starting 3:00 - 5:00 am, ending between 10:00 am - noon.

How much? A coating up to an inch or two with the highest amounts occurring east of the Hudson River.

Impact? With temperatures in the mid to upper 20s, snow should have no trouble sticking and accumulating on untreated surfaces. Road conditions will improve by late morning and afternoon on Sunday. With very cold conditions on Sunday night, be prepared for lingering slick spots on Monday morning.

Forecast snowfall on Sunday morning - match the color on the map to the legend on the right for approximate accumulation in your area

For the week ahead, after a cold, windy, and mostly sunny start, it will turn milder by Wednesday.

Temperatures could reach well into the 50s on Thursday and/or Friday along with a chance for rain.

Starting to feel a bit like spring! 🌱

My next full weekly outlook will be issued on Sunday, February 20th — have a great week!
