Hello again!
It snowed and sleeted last night (Thursday night) and the next round is less than 24 hours away.
A gentle snowfall on Saturday morning will add up to an inch or two of fresh powder in most places.
What? Light snow.
When? 12:00 am - 10:00 am Saturday. Additional snow showers and flurries are possible on Saturday afternoon.
How much? 1/2 inch-2 inches. The highest amounts will be found south of I-84, with the lowest amounts north of Poughkeepsie.
Impact? Slippery roads will be possible during the early morning hours Saturday. Conditions will improve after sunrise as the snow eases and temperatures gradually warm up. This event will produce accumulating snow all the way down to Virginia, so take note if your travels take you south.
Next week is looking more tranquil, at least to start. Have a great weekend!
