Good day! 👋
The upcoming weather vibes will be warm at first, then humid and wet, and eventually cooler — it’s a weather potpourri this week in the Hudson Valley.
This week’s short update comes by way of tropical Far North Queensland, Australia, where Kate and I are spending the long (King’s Birthday) weekend. You’ll be forgiven if you’ve never heard of that holiday before.
The vibes here are sunny and warm with a chance for kangaroos, crocodiles, and snakes 😳
Check back next week for more photos from Australia!
Fortunately, the Hudson Valley’s forecast doesn’t come with a crocodile warning! But it does come with a thunderstorm and humidity alert for Thursday:
Monday: mostly sunny and warm, turning a bit humid during the late afternoon and evening
Tuesday: similar to Monday
Wednesday: like Monday and Tuesday, except with the chance for a shower 🔁
Thursday: very humid with heavy showers and thunderstorms possible
Friday: not as humid, but an unsettled pattern probably sticks around: a chance for passing showers and maybe storms
Saturday-Sunday: a slow-moving area of low pressure may hover nearby into the weekend — it’s not looking hot with a chance for lingering showers, mainly on Saturday
The week of June 10th looks to start on the cooler side. It’s going to take a bit longer for persistent summer heat to settle into the Hudson Valley than previously thought (it’ll arrive in the western U.S. this week), but the second half of June still looks pretty toasty around here ♨️
Hope the weather doesn’t bite too much this week! ✌️
Beautiful country
I know I have a great friend in Tweed Heads and it’s beautiful
Love the croc!!
