Hello! I hope 2025 is off to a fantastic start for you.
Unfortunately, weather forecasts didn’t magically become 100% accurate in the new year. But luckily, you still have me around to help guide you through as your weather apps fluctuate wildly 😁
I’ll keep this update short and snappy.
A storm coming ashore in the Pacific Northwest on Friday night will cross the country through Monday, bringing heavy snow and ice to more than a dozen states.
New York is not one of those states.
However, the Hudson Valley will sit very close to the northern edge of the storm.
Based on the latest trends that I’m seeing, the system will pass far enough south to spare the region of notable impacts on Monday.
At this point, I think a high end scenario would be up to an inch of snow, with a low end scenario being no snow at all.
Rest assured, I’ll be keeping a close eye on things over the weekend, with my full weather update coming on Sunday morning.
I know you really want an extra day of winter vacation 😉
