Hello again! Here’s an update on some upcoming storms.
What to know about Tuesday night-Wednesday
A clipper system will swing across the Northeast from Tuesday evening into early Wednesday morning, mostly passing north of the Hudson Valley.
At this point, it looks like the storm will generally pass north of Interstate 84.
Farther north, across Sullivan, Ulster, and Dutchess Counties, up to around a half inch may fall between the hours of 9:00 p.m. Tuesday and 3:00 a.m. Wednesday.
Late night travelers along the Thruway should be aware of the potential for snow.
Additional flurries and snow showers are possible on Wednesday night.
What to know about Friday
The late week storm system is coming into focus. It looks like it will move faster than previously expected, reaching the Hudson Valley on Friday morning.
Depending on how early it arrives, some freezing rain may be possible, bringing a chance for icy conditions.
I’ll be keeping an eye on this over the next few days and will issue an update if needed.
Saturday night looks cold and dry before another system approaches on Sunday, bringing some snow and/or rain.
Thanks for reading and have a great day!
