A tiny taste of September ☺️
Update #663: Low humidity on Monday and Tuesday in the Hudson Valley will give early fall vibes. But it won't last long, with hot weather late in the week.

It’s surely a welcome reprieve from what has been an incredibly muggy and downpour-filled summer.
The Hudson Valley has been among the most unusually humid places in the country so far this month, with conditions rivaling Florida.
Here’s why:
Flooding has also grabbed weather headlines across the country. In a Washington Post article this week, I talked about the science behind the summer of the flood.
As pleasant as it will be to start the week, high heat and humidity will surge back into the region on Thursday.
The week ahead
The week ahead will start on a stunning note but turn hot and humid with some showers and storms likely later.
Monday: sunny and gorgeous 🥇
Tuesday: beautiful with sunshine 🥇
Wednesday: mostly sunny and turning warmer
Thursday: mostly sunny and hot
Friday: mostly sunny, very hot, and humid with a late-day thunderstorm possible
Saturday-Sunday: very warm and muggy conditions may stick around, along with a shower and thunderstorm chance both days
Looking ahead to the week of July 28, conditions look seasonably hot and humid with passing storms to start, followed by a possible cool down around the start of August.
Enjoy the September-like weather while it’s around!
