The coldest conditions of winter will soon arrive in the Hudson Valley — straight from the Russian Arctic!
This frigid air will be ushered by periods of light-to-moderate, fluffy, and windswept snow from Friday night into Saturday.
Timing
Snow developing Friday night, mainly after 7 p.m., and ending Saturday afternoon.
Amounts
An inch or two of fluffy snow — so light you could move it with a broom.
Impacts
Roads may be snow-covered from Friday night into Saturday morning. Blowing snow could cause reduced visibility.
High temperatures on Sunday may not reach 10 degrees in the Hudson Valley with wind chills bottoming out near minus-20. It’s going to be brutal.
