Hi there! This is a heads up on a little snow that is coming to the Hudson Valley early Saturday.
What? Light snow followed by a brief period of sleet, changing to rain by mid-morning.
When? 3:00-8:00 am Saturday.
How much? A coating up to an inch or so, perhaps two inches in the Catskills.
Impacts? With temperatures in the upper 20s to near 30, roads will be snow covered and slippery for a time early in the day. Temperatures are expected to rise above freezing by mid-morning with improving conditions.
High temperatures later Saturday afternoon are expected to be well into the 40s.
