An Arctic air mass is currently traveling through the Canadian Prairies into the Plains states and its ETA is Monday night in the Hudson Valley 🥶
Although November will end with a chill in the air, the grounds will be barren.
After some rain tonight (Sunday night), there will be a general lack of precipitation until later Friday.
The weather this week is fitting, considering meteorological winter starts on Friday, December 1st.
Although it will be cold enough for snow this week, high pressure over the southern U.S. will prevent moisture from bubbling northward. Therefore, the snow day gauge remains at rest…
Monday: breezy with a mix of clouds and sun
Tuesday: mostly sunny, cold, and windy with an afternoon flurry possible — high temperatures in the mid 30s, but wind chills in the 20s 🥶
Wednesday: remaining chilly with sun followed by some afternoon clouds; not as breezy
Thursday: mostly sunny and not as cool
Friday: increasing clouds, a chance for some showers or rain later in the day
Saturday-Sunday: an uncertain forecast at this point, but favoring dry weather on Saturday and a chance for some rain (or even wet snow) on Sunday as of this writing…
Looking ahead to the week of December 4th, conditions are looking a bit stormier than the week ahead. December 5th is the average date on which the first inch of snow typically occurs in the Hudson Valley. So it’s worth watching ❄️

Hello summer (almost) 🏖️
Meteorological summer starts on Friday in the Southern Hemisphere! The weather in Auckland is hitting its stride, with most days in the 70s. Many people are hitting the beach to soak up the sunshine, including me! I recently took the drone out for a flight over the Tasman Sea 🚁
Sending you warm, summery vibes — have a great week! ✌️
Love these and look forward to reading each week. Thank you !
Thank you Ben! Stay well🥰
