Ben: we had a very brief snow shower in the mid-Hudson Valley early this afternoon. There was some snow pellets mixed in! It's so windy that I am postponing the rest of my leaf raking till Thursday. Thanks.

Thanks for reporting back! The winds look less intense today so hopefully you can get back to the leaves sooner than later :)

Hi Ben. Love the writing. Question? How can we seriously reduce co2 emissions while so many people fly and use their cars. What will it take for us to realize that climate change is real? Thanks and I am hoping for more cold and snow. Paul

Hi Paul. Thanks for reading and your comment. I think you are asking questions whose answers will define generations to come. I know it will take a massive, global effort to induce change, and it won't be easy nor comfortable, but to me it seems the current way of doing things has so much intertia. While the small things we can all individually do will help, big things need to come from the top down. Here's hoping for snowy days in the not too distance future.
