The long range models are already showing some big anomalies in the upper troposphere throughout North America. It’s looking a very cold December is on its way in parts! Great edition, Ben! 🍻

Hi Sharon, I was unfamiliar with the term until I moved to NZ. But they are pretty common down here!

A braided river (also called braided channel or braided stream) consists of a network of river channels separated by small, often temporary, islands called braid bars.
