I know there's a storm coming through northern Minnesota today/tonight, hopefully it gives you the snow you seek!
So it turns out the northern plains got a blizzard for Xmas! But poor northern Minnesota only got light freezing rain!
By the way: I live in the mid-Hudson Valley. My sister lived in Minneapolis and I got to visit. I missed the lakes but had the great food!
